Wentworth Window
A single light window on the south of the chancel. The window depicts St Curig and is in memory of Robert Jesse Wentworth.
Maker C. E. Kempe and Co 1913
The window was installed in 1913 and paid for by William Wentworth, Robert’s father. The cost was £27.
Robert Jesse Wentworth was 15 when he was indentured to Henry Grierson for 4 years in 1910. He sailed out of the Port of Glasgow on the Claverdon (89615) but was swept overboard and drowned in 1911 around Cape Horn.
